  Bad service .visited here on 12th.of Nov. With my friend .the lady on the front till was lovely and helpful but when we sat at the back and waiting to be served ,oh dear ,we waited and waited .we were not even acknowledged by staff .my friend after a while went up and asked if we had to order ourselves and we were told someone would be with us shortly but after another wait we then asked if we could move through to the main room .We then waited again when we eventually were asked what we wanted we asked for afternoon tea but we're told we had to prebook but we could have sandwiches and cakes /scones but not on a tea stand ?? So ok we ordered sandwiches and we're told to order a cake later .another wait sandwiches arrived a while after our drinks not too good the bread was dry .I then ordered a slice of caramel short cake and I had to ask the waitress were my cake was .she told us we were in a queue ,to our a slice of tray bake on a plate ?? Oh dear not good .I should add I owned and ran 2 coffee shops myself in Edinburgh and I still work for a company demonstrating cooking , some training is sorely needed .
